Our Mission
The Dollhouse Project exists to honor the love, generosity, and legacy of Billie Hill and Carolyn Love.
Our mission is simple and heartfelt: to give as many little girls as possible a beautiful dollhouse for Christmas.
What began as one act of kindness during a financially difficult holiday has grown into an initiative that brings joy, magic, and hope to families every year. Through community support, donations, and love, we ensure that every girl we reach feels seen, celebrated, and deeply cherished.

How it Started
A Story Rooted in Love, Family, and Legacy
The Dollhouse Project began with one Christmas moment in 1994 that changed everything.
Years ago, during a very difficult time, Billie Hill wanted nothing more than to give her daughter a dollhouse she dreamed of .
A family member had promised to buy the dollhouse, and Billie trusted that everything was taken care of. But just days before Christmas, she found out that the dollhouse wasn’t coming after all.
Having already spent all her money on the other toys Billie was disappointed and heartbroken, and called her sister in tears. What she didn’t know was that her aunt, Carolyn Love, overheard that conversation. Without hesitation, Carolyn stepped in and provided the money for the dollhouse. That moment — the kindness, the rescue, the relief, the magic — stayed with Billie for the rest of her life.
For decades after, she paid that love forward by gifting dollhouses to little girls in her community, creating joy where there was struggle and hope where there was worry.
Today, we honor this beautiful tradition in loving memory of Billie Hill and her Aunt Carolyn Love.
